Our Vision

With the rapid development of technology, we see an accompanying escalation of environmental pollution in the 21st century. As the world becomes more and more urbanized, our lifestyles also become more and more erratic, resulting in a dramatic increase of illnesses that are linked to such modern culture. We at LOSHASA seek to bring together various modern technological advances, in an effort to create a concept of health care for the new century, in which the disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine, and natural treatments are holistically integrated, transcending various theories and treatments. LOSHASA plans to build a fully equipped, green architecture-based general hospital—the Shanghai Yuxing Hospital. The hospital will combine state-of-the arts medical technology with the concepts of charitable work, whole-person health care, environmental protection, and care for the disadvantaged. Employing the best health care management technology from the US and Taiwan, the hospital will focus on the integrative treatment of hematological, neurological, and immune disorders as well as geriatric medicine and provide a forum for academic exchange with various academic research institutes, in which the fruit of medical research and treatment efforts can be shared, for the benefit of society and as a means to contribute to the creation of life-giving values.

Our Location

Shanghai, China

After a careful assessment of community needs and key regional factors, LOSHASA Charity Foundation has finally select Shanghai, China as the site for the hospital. The city is well suited for the hospital, which specializes in the hematological, neurological, and immune disorders, in that it will be able to attract from there the best talents of these fields from various places; it will also be able to raise support for the best health care facilities, with the most current design concepts. Indeed, the hospital will be able to enjoy the many favorable advantages that the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai has to offer.

With a population of more than 23 million of regular residents, Shanghai is a hotspot that links China with the world. Whether it is in terms of accessible transportation infrastructure, ease of recruitment of healthcare professionals, or the smooth operation of logistics and information technology, Shanghai is indeed the most ideal location for a large-scale, international hospital. It will not only be able to serve patients from different segments of society, but will also be able to fulfill its mission as a leader among health care systems from around the world.

Shanghai ranks first in the consumption of healthcare services and resources in the whole of China. As a cosmopolitan city, Shanghai has a vibrant and sophisticated business community. In such a city, the need for a modern hospital that is capable of keeping pace with the world is indeed real and urgent. In addition, there is a large population of foreign residents in Shanghai as well as a substantial population of disadvantaged families. It is LOSHASA’s vision to bring together the collective power of other charitable organizations to help disadvantaged families that are unable to access appropriate healthcare services.

The greatness of a person does not rest on how much money he or she has earned, or how much power he or she has, but on how many people he or she helped. It is the vision of the members of LOSHASA Charity Foundation to strive to work together in the field of healing, upon the basis of person-centered care, to help more patients that are helpless. LOSHASA believes that the convergence of great compassion is in itself an innovation in healthcare as well as the most perfect reflection of the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
